HDMI AV switch

Accell has released the UltraAV HDMI 2-1 Switch, which enables the simultaneous connection of two HDMI video sources to high-definition displays and projectors. The switch includes a programmable wireless remote, an infrared extender, and a manual toggle for source switching. The HDCP-compliant device supports 1080p resolution and multichannel digital audio, and is backward compatible with DVI when used with an HDMI-DVI adapter or cable. Price: $99. Pioneer Electronics has introduced the three-way, floor-standing S-1EX loudspeaker and S-W1EX powered subwoofer. The S-1EX (pictured here) includes a 7.1-inch low-frequency driver, a 5.5-inch mid-range driver, and a 1.4-inch tweeter. The loudspeaker has a 28 Hz to 100 kHz frequency range, 6-ohm impedance, and 89.5 dB SPL sensitivity. The S-W1EX consists of a 12-inch Aramid cone and a 12-inch Aramid cone passive radiator.
