September 13, 2007 — NSCA recently launched a job board to help employers and job seekers connect. Those looking for employment can post their resumes to be viewed by registered employers and receive daily job match emails.
Likewise, companies in need of new hires can register on the site to post open positions and browse applicants. An email alert will notify an employer when their job posting is due to expire. “This is a great way to bring new people into the industry as well as match seasoned veterans with our member companies,” says Jodi Montgomery, senior director of member services. “This year, in conjunction with the NSCA Education Foundation, we will be focusing heavily on promoting the NSCA job board, with free resume posting and job-searching features, to community colleges and vocational-technical schools nationwide.”
