NSCA Offers Security Courses to Members
September 25, 2007 — The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA), in partnership with STAM Multimedia, now offers 24-hour-a-day, Web-based security training in order to educate workers for a growing market. U.S. security revenue was $29.5 billion in 2006 and is projected to earn $32.3 billion in 2007, according to the 2007 Security Distributing and Marketing Magazine Industry Forecast Study. The training includes five course topics: CCTV-A Complete Review, Digital Video and Networking, Fiber Optic Technology, Biometric Technology, and Basic Electricity. STAM plans to add a course on Wireless Technology in 2008. Each course offers transferable Learning Units for NSCA University’s College of Technical Knowledge CCP or credit toward the renewal of the EST program.
