OWI Weatherizes Pendant Speakers

“OWI’s Mercury Pendant Speakers are the perfect choice for the high, open ceilings that are so popular today,” said Joseph Martinez, vice president of OWI, in a statement. “Because of the great sound dispersion you get with pendant speakers, you can use fewer speakers and that saves money. The weatherized casing, grill, and bracket assure years of trouble-free listening pleasure.”
Company officials said the Mercury Pendant Speaker delivers 360 degrees of sound in an easy-to-install, professional-quality loudspeaker. It includes four 2.5-inch midrange, one 1-inch tweeter, one 6.5-inch woofer, and four bass ports for more dynamic sound. The loudspeakers have a selectable switch for either 8-ohm or 70-volt and are available in either 20- or 50-watt models. They include mounting hardware and optional safety cables for installation in high-ceiling applications.
The loudspeakers come in black or white and carry a five-year warranty.
