Parasound Closes Deal with AVAD
Parasound signed a nationwide distribution deal with AV distribution company AVAD.
Parasound, a manufacturer of high-performance AV components, signed a nationwide distribution deal with AV distribution company AVAD. Under the agreement, all AVAD branches in the United States will carry Parasound’s custom installation-focused New Classic and Z series components. Previously, Parasound supplied components to eight of AVAD’s U.S. locations.
“The current environment for electronics sales is challenging, but Parasound and AVAD have both continued to perform well,” said Parasound president and founder Richard Schram. “AVAD’s strict prohibition, monitoring, and enforcement of unauthorized Internet sales mirrors our own, and provides much needed protection from unscrupulous sellers for both dealers and consumers.”
