Revolabs says it has introduced an adapter for connecting the Countryman earset microphone to the company’s HD Wireless Microphone Systems. The new HD Wireless Countryman Adapter plugs into the Countryman mic and transmits/receives signals using the Revolabs Executive HD Wireless Microphone System or the HD Single/Dual Channel Wireless Microphone System.

According to the company, the combination provides quality wireless sound with no bulky equipment, such as a belt pack or batteries. The flexibility of the HD Wireless Microphone Systems, which support one to 32 microphones of various types (wearable, handheld, etc.), makes them well suited for broadcasting, houses of worship, rental, and other professional audio markets.

“Many broadcasters and clergy prefer the Countryman mic, but hate the beltpack and batteries that are required to power the microphone,” said JP Carney, chief operating officer at Revolabs, in a statement. “Our Countryman Adapter provides a wireless connection that is very small and rechargeable,”

“Revolabs HD Wireless Microphone System is a perfect complement to our product and the combination will provide a strong solution for broadcasting applications,” said Chris Countryman, president of Countryman Associates, in a statement. “We are pleased to be working with Revolabs to provide great sound with our virtually unnoticeable microphone.”
