Symetrix agreed to sponsor Fits & Starts Productions’ “HOW-To Church Sound Workshops,” which aim to bring novice house of worship audio technicians up to speed on the most effective practices for improving the sound quality in their establishments. Sound engineer and instructor Mike Sokol teaches the workshops, which are currently on an 18-city tour of the U.S. until May.

“[The workshop] does a fabulous job of instructing everyone from church volunteers to sound professionals on the methods they can employ to bring their services to the next level,” said Paul Roberts, director of sales for Symetrix. In the workshops, Sokol introduces two Symetrix products?the Deuce 722 and the 528E voice processor?to address common house of worship audio issues, such as clarity and balance.
