TV One Intros New Format Converters
TV One introduced two new format converters for analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion.
Both models are single-function format converters, with no video scaling. The 1T-FC-524 can convert to several other formats if DVI isn’t available. An analog YPbPr input can be converted to either digital YPbPr or to RGBHV. Likewise, an analog RGBHV input can be converted to digital RGBHV. The resolution of the output is the same as the input. All standard HDTV resolutions are supported on both products, from 480p through 1080p, plus SDTV resolutions of 480 and 576i. PC resolutions up to 1600×1200 are also supported. The converters handle DVI bandwidth to 1.65 Gbps. Both are currently shipping.

The 1T-FC-524 converts analog RGBHV or Component YPbPr inputs to DVI signals, allowing them to display on DVI or HDTV monitors. The 1T-FC-425 converts DVI signals to RGBHV or Component YPbPr for analog displays and other devices.
