For-A Corporation of America, a leading manufacturer of video and audio systems for the broadcast and professional video industries, is introducing its new compact and cost-effective IVS-100 video stabilizer. Thanks to its +12V DC operation, the IVS-100 is ideal for mobile video applications such as within cars, planes, and boats. It can also be used in a wide range of monitoring systems—from highway and railroad monitoring to weather cameras.

The IVS-100 joins For-A’s wide-ranging family of video stabilization products, including the IVS-300, IVS-500, and IVS-700HS. Designed for a variety of applications, they all electrically correct video shaking that occurs in camera applications, as well as unsteadiness on pre-recorded VCR tapes.

The IVS-100’s compact size and functionality are ideal for field applications. The unit’s dimensions are 145mm wide by 40mm high by 162mm deep, and it operates at +12V DC. The functions and performance of the IVS-100 are the same as those of its predecessor, the IVS-300A, making it very powerful and reliable.

“The IVS-100 can correct unstabilized pictures far more vividly than any competitive products,” says Susumu Hotta, general manager, For-A Corporation of America. “With its low price and small size, it’s perfectly suited for a diverse range of field applications.”
