Utah Scientific, a manufacturer of routing switchers and related products for the broadcast industry, announced the hiring of Rich Hajdu as senior vice president.
Utah Scientific, a manufacturer of routing switchers and related products for the broadcast industry, announced the hiring of Rich Hajdu as senior vice president.
Company officials said Hajdu will be responsible for strengthening Utah Scientific’s relationships with networks, station groups, and cable and satellite facilities, as well as implementing a cohesive dealer and system integrator program and developing communications programs to clearly distinguish Utah Scientific’s products and services within the marketplace. He will report directly to president and CEO Tom Harmon.
During his 30-plus years in the broadcast industry, Hajdu has worked for several industry leaders, including Harris, Chyron, Pro-Be, and Dynatech Video Group. Having held both sales and management positions, he worked with customers in all vertical markets and has been involved with products from every major broadcast technology segment.
“Rich’s integrity, work ethic, talent, and skills are well known and exactly the right combination to enhance the Utah team in this key initiative,” said Harmon.
