A majority of AV firms report that the corporate market provides most of their company’s revenue (51 percent), while the residential market provides the least (2 percent). Some markets are more challenging to do business with than others — 21 percent admit that the government segment is the most difficult to do business with. With these market nuances, it’s surprising that only about one-third of AV firms have vertical market specialists.
