Vizio Makes Key Executive Appointments

Rapid company growth of flat-panel TV sales in North America led Vizio to add five people to its executive ranks. Vizio began its appointments by hiring Rob L. Brinkman as vice president of operations in October 2007. Brinkman’s day-to-day responsibilities include forward logistics, customer service, and technical support. Eunice Tseng also joined the company in October as vice president of management information systems (MIS). One of her key responsibilities is to ensure the company’s internal infrastructure can handle an expected increase in worldwide sales, new customers, and new business partners. John Schindler was hired in November 2007 as the vice president of new products. His 12-year tenure with Gateway helps him lead Vizio’s product development.

In February 2008, Vizio hired Kyle Wescoat as vice president and CFO and John Morriss as vice president of partner management. Wescoat’s financial function is in anticipation of the company’s continued growth into new markets, additional customers, and broader global partnerships. Morriss responsibilities are to develop long-term and cooperative business partnerships with other global corporations.
