Intelix, a Middleton, Wis.-based AV equipment and software manufacturer, releases the AVO-SVA2-WP-F wallplate balun. It distributes one channel of S-Video and two channels of high-fidelity stereo audio up to 1,000 feet over standard twisted-pair cable.

Intelix, a Middleton, Wis.-based AV equipment and software manufacturer, releases the AVO-SVA2-WP-F wallplate balun. It distributes one channel of S-Video and two channels of high-fidelity stereo audio up to 1,000 feet over standard twisted-pair cable. The front panel features one four-pin S-Video connector and two gold-plated female RCA connectors on a white face-plate. On the rear panel is an RJ45 connector and an optional grounding screw. The unit installs into any standard-depth wall-box. When used in pairs or with a rack-mountable modular balun, the AVO-SVA2-WP-F can transmit S-Video and bidirectional 20 Hz to 20 kHz analog audio.
