MEMORY RECOVERY

Breece Hill‘s BizGuardian is a disk-to-disk-to-tape backup and recovery appliance. The BizGuardian automatically scans the network to discover new desktops, notebooks, or servers, and then backs them up to disk without the need for manual intervention. Backup operations are automatically adjusted to ensure all computers are protected, and AES-encrypted tapes are created for safe offsite storage.

SOFTWARE

Quadrox‘s WebCCTV remote network video surveillance software (trade named Guard NVR) may be licensed from one to 20 network cameras per PC, providing total customer flexibility in licensing for only the number of cameras needed in a particular application. A licensing upgrade plan is available to accommodate customers’ changing needs.

For potential users, a 30-day free trial is available on Quadrox’s website.

STORAGE

Sony Electronics’ Micro Vault Tiny drive measures 1/2in. wide and just more than 1in. in length. Available in a range of designs, colors, and storage capacities (256MB to 4GB), the drive provides flexible, mobile data storage options. Tiny is preloaded with Virtual Expander, which expands the device’s capacity to virtually store up to three times as much data by automatically compressing and decompressing files.
