Barely a prototype when it was previewed at last fall’s CEDIA Expo, Digital Projection‘s active-3D enabled, 5,500-lumen M-Vision Cine 3D is now reportedly ready for shipment. The projector uses the same DLP DarkChip technology as higher-end DP products and can output 3D imagery to screens up to 14 feet wide. The Cine 3D is a native 1080p projector capable of 120 frames per second. Its generous lens-shift range of 30 degrees horizontal and 120 degrees vertical allows for flexible installation. Fixed and zoom lenses are available, with throw ratios from 1.25:1 to 3:1. There’s also a fixed lens that offers a 0.73:1 throw ratio.
