Gefen has come out with a new solution for connecting DVI sources to Apple’s new 27-inch LED Cinema Displays. The GefenTV Dual Link DVI to Mini DisplayPort Converter offers plug-and-play connectivity between standard DVI graphics ports and the Apple display. It supports resolutions up to 2560×1600 and has an EDID switch for manually selecting one of three modes: 2560×1600, 2560×1440, or pass-through. The unit is powered by an included USB cable. Audio support is through the built-in 3.5mm audio connector. The audio output is fed through the mini-DP Out connector on the unit.
