Atdec announced the SD-POS-HA, what the company calls its most functional, rugged, secure, and ergonomic mount for commercial applications. Atdec officials say it’s designed for use in public spaces, including retail, education, or interactive applications and features the ability to lock the viewing angle and height of a display for touch-screen installations.
“The SD-POS-HA offers such a wide range of adjustability and anti-theft features making it perfect for point of sale, touch screen and interactive applications where flexibility and security is important,” said Jerome Green, CEO of Atdec, in a statement. “The mount is also extremely easy to install.”
The SD-POS-HA has a contemporary design and offers a range of security features, according to the company. The mount has a quick-release mechanism that allows for fast display attachment or removal and comes with an optional security screw to secure the display. Cables are hidden via the mount’s internal cable management system with three entry and exit ports, and screws and mounting hardware are concealed behind a self adhesive covering, dramatically enhancing theft resistance and guaranteeing a safe and clean finish
The height-adjustable mount supports displays up to 44 pounds and is designed to mount monitors ranging in size from 12 to 24 inches. The mount’s telescopic, toolless height adjustment allows for a range of 4.92 inches with a minimum height of 13 inch and a maximum height of 17.91 inches. Displays can be adjusted 20 degrees in any direction from the vertical plane thanks to the mount’s ball-joint mechanism; an optional 90-, 180-, 270-, or 355-degree range of rotation is also available around the mount’s pole. The SD-POS-HA supports industry standard VESA mounting-hole patterns of 75-by-75 millimeters and 100-by-100 millimeters.
The SD-POS-HA is available now with an MSRP of $179.
