AVI-SPL, a national provider of audiovisual communications solutions, made three new additions to its sales force.

Colin Smith recently joined AVI-SPL's office in Sterling, Va., as a new account manager. He'll focus on corporate, government, and higher education sales in addition to business development. Smith previously worked for Washington Professional Systems as a digital sales manager and has more than 15 years of audio video sales experience.

AVI-SPL also welcomed new federal business development manager Steve White to the Washington, D.C., office. White will develop strategic business opportunities with government agencies in order to provide AV integration, command and control, videoconferencing, and telepresence solutions, company officials explained. Prior to his role at AVI-SPL, White was Hewlett-Packard's federal solutions manager, offering their broad product and services portfolio for data virtualization and automation.

Finally, AVI-SPL's New York office added new sales engineer Yossi Solomon to its team. Solomon will focus his sales efforts on the government and education markets in New York and New Jersey. He most recently worked for B&H Photo as a senior account manager.
