has introduced its new $495 ES963 Three-Element Multidirectional Boundary Microphone, the latest addition to the company’s Engineered Sound line. It’s designed for surface-mount applications, such as sound reinforcement, conferencing, professional recording, and television. Three cardioid condenser elements in the microphone housing are set with an angle of 120 degrees between them to provide 360-degree coverage above the mounting surface. Positioning levers on the base allow two of the elements to be reoriented to offer angles of 90, 90, and 180 degrees between elements, which can also be powered and used individually or in combination for further flexibility. 330-686-2600.
