Gear Box Pro found a way to turn cable ?spaghetti? into a piece of cake.
Gear Box Pro found a way to turn cable “spaghetti” into a piece of cake. The Cable Cube is a multiconductor that streamlines cable connectivity from amps to loudspeakers. Each Cable Cube uses a standard Aeroquip flytrack for rigging the cube from trusses or any other support so installers and integrators can suspend cable connections, maximizing flexibility while minimizing trip hazards. The clip is interchangeable with other Aeroquip fittings, so it can fasten to the main rigging as well. All of Gear Box Pro’s Cable Cube products function bi-directionally, as splitters and combiners. They can even create a loudspeakerlevel amplifier output snake so several individual cables can combine into one multiconductor cable. The Cubes range from the simple TWIN, an NL2/combo connector splitter with three parallel connectors, or to the complex DISTRO+/MATRIX+, a combination of the DISTRO+ and MATRIX+ models that lets two NL4s provide a matrix for two Bi-amp outputs from an NL8. Prices, as of press time, range from $50 to $190. www.gearboxpro.com.
