As the regional manager for consultant market development, he is dedicated to the lighting industry, Crestron officials said.

In this new position, Souders will apply his 20 years experience in technical sales and system design of lighting control systems to address the specific needs of the professional lighting consultants. Souders will also relay important product development news and receiving feedback about product features from the consultant community.

“As we continue to grow our business, it is gratifying to be able to attract the type of talent to our team that Cory represents. His knowledge and experience are a perfect match for Crestron’s complete AV, lighting control, and integrated building technology solutions,” said Mike Malone, Crestron senior director of lighting controls, in a statement. “The blend of experience with our solution will make Cory a valuable resource for our customers specifying controls for today’s challenging construction environment.”

Souders began his career at Lutron Electronics as a systems designer.
