Crestron announced the appointment of Gary Herron as its new director of customer support. Herron will be responsible for leading the customer service and technical support departments.

Crestron announced the appointment of Gary Herron as its new director of customer support. Herron will be responsible for leading the customer service and technical support departments.

Herron has 20 years experience in sales, operations, and customer service. Prior to joining Crestron, Herron was director of sales customer support at LG Electronics, where he lead the customer support and order fulfillment departments supporting the sales organization’s home appliance, home electronics, and commercial air conditioning divisions for all national and regional accounts in the U.S.

“Customer support is just as important as engineering and product development,” said Rich Sasson, Crestron director of technical services, in a statement. “Supporting our dealers by getting them the information they need quickly and accurately is vital so they can satisfy their customers. Bringing Gary on board demonstrates our commitment to building relationships that drive business for our dealers.”

Herron’s strength in management will ensure a quality experience for dealers each time they call Crestron. His skill set conveys his commitment to solid leadership and organization, Crestron officials said.

“I am thrilled to join Crestron and manage our customer service and technical support division,” said Herron in a statement. “My goal is to drive customer satisfaction which allow for our dealers to complete more jobs faster and grow their businesses.”
