Digital Projection announced the appointment of Dan Benjamin to the position of northwest market development manager. Company officials said Benjamin has already begun to assume responsibilities managing all of DPI’s sales through the company’s extensive commercial AV, home cinema, and staging channels in the northwestern U.S., as well as western Canadian region.

DPI said Benjamin is another key personnel addition in a recent round of infrastructure investment that includes numerous new hires, as well as the significant expansion of DPI’s U.S. headquarters in Georgia. With more than 13 years of experience in the electronics industry, Benjamin is a knowledgeable and technically proficient asset to the integrators, consultants, and industry partners in his territory, according to the company. Most of Benjamin’s experience in electronics sales and marketing centered on projector lines with some of the industry’s largest manufacturers, which gives him a degree of competitive insight when supporting DPI’s integrators with their business opportunities.

“We are very pleased that Dan has joined Digital Projection,” said Chuck Collins, Digital Projection’s vice president of sales, in a statement. “He brings a depth of knowledge in both sales management and complex systems that has already proven invaluable to DPI’s customers in the northwest. The fact that he’s well-versed in projection technology is yet another welcome asset.”

As northwest market development manager, Benjamin’s areas of responsibility include northern Nevada, Washington and Oregon, as well as parts of western Canada.
