Sennheiser

has come out with its new Audio Distribution Network (ADN) discussion system, which it says is aimed at the entry-level conferencing market. It’s a wired, digital system comprising a central unit and two conference terminals, one for the conference manager and the other for participants. The terminals use Sennheiser’s KE 10 capsule, with a super-cardioid pickup pattern. A DSP limiter ensures the signal can’t over-amplify, while audio is reproduced by the station’s integrated twin loudspeakers. The central unit includes an integrated PC with pre-installed conferencing software. A balanced XLR audio output allows sound to be distributed to external equipment, as well as to RF and infrared assistive listening systems. A wireless microphone receiver can be connected via the XLR audio input. 860-434-9190.
