Meridian Audio has developed the Meridian 810 Reference Video System, which comprises two elements: the 810 Reference Video Projector, offering 10-megapixel resolution; and the 810 Reference Video Scaler, designed to optimize the imaging of HD and standard resolution inputs for the 10-mega-pixel projection environment.
Meridian Audio has developed the Meridian 810 Reference Video System, which comprises two elements: the 810 Reference Video Projector, offering 10-megapixel resolution; and the 810 Reference Video Scaler, designed to optimize the imaging of HD and standard resolution inputs for the 10-mega-pixel projection environment. The projector uses a new light engine to deliver a resolution of 4096×2400 pixels, the company says. Powered by a PKI Xenon lamp, the projector has a light output of 4,000 lumens and a native contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The scaler converts any digital source (480i to 1080p) up to full 10 megapixel resolution. Four packages will be available with lens systems that offer different throw lengths.
