Creston's new HD-EXT extenders can transmit uncompressed HDMI signals up to 330 feet over a single shielded twisted-pair wire. The HD-EXT1-C includes a compact HD transmitter and receiver that simultaneously carry high-definition digital video and audio, plus two-way RS-232 and IR control signals, over a Crestron DM 8G STP cable. It supports HDMI with deep color and 3D, 7.1-channel HD lossless audio, DVI and DisplayPort components, and resolutions up to 1920x1200 and 1080p/60. For applications requiring analog audio signals along with HDMI, the HD-EXT2-C substitutes the RS-232 and IR control with stereo analog audio support. 800-237-2041. www.crestron.com.
