Intelix upgraded its HDMI twisted-pair family with the DIGI-HD-4X2 matrix, which combines 4×2 HDMI switching with twisted-pair extension and Intelix’s own HDshak processing. The DIGI-HD-4X2 has four HDMI inputs, two HDMI outputs, and two twisted-pair extender outputs. Both the HDMI and twisted-pair outputs are live at the same time. When used with a compatible Intelix twisted-pair receiver, the matrix extends output signals up to 300 feet over a single cable. HDshak processing provides remote EDID storing and bandwidth limiting, allowing the installer to disable high-bandwidth HDMI elements, such as deep color and multichannel audio, to maintain performance. 608-831-0880. www.intelix.com.
