Hitachi Debuts 2,200-Lumen Portable Projector

Hitachi America’s Business Solutions Group has introduced the CP-RX82 3LCD projector, a solution for mobile professionals. The CP-RX82 offers a brightness of 2,200 ANSI lumens at a weight of less than five pounds.
The CP-RX82 is an XGA projector that features an easily accessible, high-efficiency filter, as well as a lamp life of 6,000 hours in Eco Mode, according to the company. The Saving mode reduces standby power consumption to half-a-watt.
“Entry-level projectors do not need to be synonymous with low quality,” said John Glad, Hitachi America product manager, in a statement “The CP-RX82 packs a ton of features into a compact and lightweight chassis at a very affordable price.”
The CP-RX82 features 1W audio out and functions such as closed captioning, whiteboard and blackboard modes, a template function, and instant on/off. It also includes proprietary Hitachi functions such as My Screen, My Memory, My Buttons, and My Source, and offers PIN lock security.
