The new home market may never bounce back to pre-recession levels. But if builders themselves are any indication, including AV and home systems in new construction will remain as important as ever. This according to the Consumer Electronics Association’s (CEA) annual State of the Builder Study, released in March in cooperation with the National Association of Home Builders Research Center.

While the latest results indicate that a critical mass of home builders has come to understand the importance of technology (85 percent says it’s important to marketing new homes), how they sell it, why, and who they work with are still works in progress. Professional integrators can help.
