JBL Synthesis introduced its SK2-3300 LCR loudspeaker, which incorporates driver technologies from the company’s flagship Project Everest DD66000 speaker for musical accuracy and fidelity in custom-installed, multichannel home theaters. The three-way, THX Ultra2-certified SK2-3300 uses compression drivers for the ultrahigh and high frequencies. The ultrahigh-frequency driver uses a 1-inch beryllium diaphragm for extended frequency response beyond 50 kHz and is matched with a JBL Bi-Radial horn that delivers 60-by-30-degree coverage.
