ITS Enclosures, manufacturers of industrial computer enclosures and large-format LCD enclosures, recently introduced a new IceStation model, dubbed the Titan, for protecting sensitive technology on the shop floor.

The IceStation Titan features a viewing window suited to accommodate today’s widescreen LCDs up to 24 inches, a large removable work surface, and an integrated roll-out keyboard drawer. It has an adjustable monitor shelf and a VESA-compliant mount.. It’s also designed to accommodate a fan system for additional cooling.

The Titan is rated NEMA 12 and is intended for indoor use providing protection against dust, falling dirt, and non-corrosive liquids.

“The IceStation TITAN is the culmination of 25 years of industrial experience,” said ITS Enclosures head engineer Edward Calhoun, in a statement. “The big difference between the Titan enclosure and previous IceStation models is that the Titan was designed specifically to support wide screen LCDs.”

The IceStation family of products protects displays and computer systems from threats like dirt, dust, splashing fluids, and other contaminants.

To usher in the Titan, ITS Enclosures is giving them away. Customers who send photos of existing IceStation models in use will be entered to win a new IceStation Titan. Participants must e-mail photos along with a brief description to [email protected] by July 31 in order to be eligible to win in August.

“We are very pleased about the introduction of the Titan and we want to share the enthusiasm with all of our customers,” ITS president John Spangler said in a statement.
