The AQUOS HDTV D64U Series (models LC-65D64U, LC-52D64U, LC-46D64U and LC-42D64U) of LCD televisions is available in 65-, 52-, 46- and 42-inch screen sizes from Sharp Electronics Corp. These new Energy Star-compliant models feature a thin, lightweight bezel that provides a significantly smaller footprint than previous models, according to the company. They also offer full 1080p (1920 x 1080) resolution and the latest generation of the company’s proprietary Advanced Super View LCD panel, providing a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and response time of 4ms. Rounding out the enhanced list of specs is the D64U’s array of inputs, including three HDMI inputs (with one on the side for easy access) and two HD component video inputs (all 1080p compatible), an RS-232C input for control, and a PC input.
