LifeSize and Advanced Media Ink Agreement
LifeSize Communications and Advanced Media Design have entered a distribution agreement that names AMD as a value-added distributor for LifeSize HD video communications solutions in North America. LifeSize Communications and Advanced Media Design (AMD) have entered a distribution agreement that names AMD as a value-added distributor for LifeSize HD video communications solutions in North America. Under the agreement, AMD can resell LifeSize HD video systems, management, and infrastructure products.
Formerly, AMD was a value-added distributor of Tandberg video systems for more than 10 years, according to a statement.
“We are pleased to have AMD join our partner network to expand the availability of LifeSize HD video communications,” said Adam Taylor, executive vice president of sales and customer services at LifeSize Communications, in a statement. “With over 20 years of communications solutions expertise and a world-class team, AMD understands the video communications reseller channel as well as end customers’ collaboration needs. We’re looking forward to partnering with AMD to deliver the LifeSize HD experience.”
LifeSize video communications solutions deliver telepresence for a variety of environments with up to full HD 1080p video communications. According to the company, the systems provide HD video communication under 1Mbps at a high resolution. The full suite of LifeSize solutions is now available for order from AMD.
