Magenta Research says it has established a new pricing tier specifically for educational facilities. Schools, integrators, and resellers will be required to register projects to qualify for Educational Assistance Program Pricing.

To help kick off the program, Magenta is offering schools and universities an additional rebate program until the end of 2009 to help defray the cost of system end points, such as displays and projectors. The company will rebate 5 percent of the cost of each end point-up to $50 per incurrence-directly to the educational facility.

“No aspect of the educational experience should be compromised,” said Magenta Research president Bob Michaels, in a statement. “This program will allow any educational facility to integrate Magenta technology in line with budgetary requirements.”
