Extron Electronics’ new CrossPoint Ultra series ultra-wideband matrix switchers are designed to perform in demanding, high-resolution, computervideo, and stereo audio routing systems. With a 600 MHz bandwidth, fl at frequency response, and efficient power consumption, the switchers are available in 12 models and six I/O sizes, from 8×4 to 16×16. Other key features include 525 to 600 MHz (-3 dB) RGB video bandwidth, frequency response of +/-0.5 dB or less from zero to 130 MHz, low crosstalk with channel-to-channel isolation of -56 dB or better at 100 MHz, and three control options of front panel, RS-232 serial, and IP Link Ethernet control.
