The RapcoHorizon Co. has added the MDS-108 and MDS-112 Media Distribution System models to its lineup. Intended for live media applications and press conferences where one microphone is split to multiple video recorders or cameras, the MDS-108 features eight outputs while the MDS-112 offers 12. These units feature both 1/4-inch balanced and XLR input connectors for line level signals, and can drive several outputs at a time. Each has 1/8-inch connectors on the first two output channels and 20dB pads with ground lift switches on the input section. All channels are transformer isolated, and the user can daisy-chain multiple MDS units together when more than 12 outputs are needed. Price: N/A.
