The system integrates Meridian’s connectivity with a user-friendly Sooloos touch screen, according to the company. Using Meridian SpeakerLink and Comms protocols, the Control 10 can integrate with Meridian digital loudspeakers, preamp/controllers, and music systems. The touch screen uses RS-232 to connect with legacy media and home-control systems, and incorporates onboard S/PDIF coaxial digital outputs, which allow it to function as a complete zone. The desktop-style touch screen also includes a 17-inch LCD display with HD-level imaging and a resistive touch panel, plus a slot-loading CD drive and heat-sinking fanless design. Price: $5,000.
