Meridian America promoted Mike Fass to product manager for Meridian Digital Media, effective immediately.

Meridian America promoted Mike Fass to product manager for Meridian Digital Media, effective immediately.

In his new role, Fass will serve as the conduit between the dealers and internal sales team and the Meridian Digital Media Development team. He will also be the main engineering contact in the United States for third-party entities such as Rhapsody, Apple, Crestron, and Savant.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Fass will continue to offer technical support for dealers and sales staff as well as be a critical resource to the service department.

“Mike’s intricate knowledge of our Digital Media products makes him an incredible asset to the company,” said Peter Wellikoff, CEO of Meridian American, in a statement. “His dedication and work ethic are exemplary and he is well-deserving of this promotion.”

Fass was involved with studio engineering and music production when he met future Sooloos team members. He was hired as part of the original Sooloos staff, joining the company in 2007, and was responsible for shipping out the first Sooloos system.

Wellikoff continued in his statement, “Mike is a key member, having made significant contributions to the Meridian Digital Media Development team. His new position and responsibilities will enable him to further utilize his talents more effectively.”
