Middle Atlantic Products said it now offers 3D models of its racks, cabinets, and enclosures in AutoDesk’s Revit platform. Revit is a building information modeling program used by designers, architects, and others.
According to the company, Revit drawings can help identify problems resulting from objects occupying the same physical space, which can consequently save time and money during construction.
The Revit files (.rfa) offered by Middle Atlantic come in small file sizes and offer users the ability to select the appropriate level of detail, says the company. In addition to Revit files, Middle Atlantic Products also offers a suite of system design resources and tools, including: RackTools, a free layout and specification package that exports to AutoCAD; CAD Technical specification drawings; 3D AutoCAD files; CAD Block Library; and Visio Blocks.
