More Bretford Products Now Greenguard Certified
Bretford Manufacturing announced that 155 more of its carts, book trucks, tables, and accessories are now Greenguard Indoor Air Quality certified by the Greenguard Environmental Institute. Combined with Bretford’s other Greenguard-certified products, a total of 243 of its furniture models can now be specified to help commercial facilities achieve LEED points.
Bretford Manufacturing announced that 155 more of its carts, book trucks, tables, and accessories are now Greenguard Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) certified by the Greenguard Environmental Institute (GEI). The latest models, which include laptop carts, have achieved the Greenguard standard for low emitting products and for the Children & Schools product certification program. Combined with Bretford’s other Greenguard-certified products, a total of 243 of its furniture models can now be specified to help commercial facilities achieve LEED points toward the certification for the design, construction, and operation of green buildings, according to company officials.
“Greenguard certification will be ongoing for Bretford, as it is our goal to contribute to the health and safety of our children as effectively as we can,” said Tad Petrick, director of marketing and product development for Bretford Manufacturing, in a statement. “The Greenguard designation helps significantly in this process.”
Some of the latest certified cart models include the new Netbook32 Micro Computer Laptop cart, and the Presenter’s Assistant for Learning (PAL) cart. Additional certified products include Bretford’s traditional and contemporary book trucks, multimedia lecterns, KR training tables, and wide-body television and flat-panel carts and retrofit kits, along with several mounts and flat-panel cart accessories.
