Optoma has chosen Peerless Industries to develop its new universal ceiling mount. The Optoma Universal Mount by Peerless is designed to offer installers a high-quality ceiling mount with many features, according to the company.
“This partnership is a win-win for pro AV installers,” said Jon Grodem, Optoma’s director of products and marketing, in a statement. “With one contact point, anyone looking for a ceiling installation solution can get a projector and mount that work seamlessly together. It simplifies ordering, increases efficiency, and saves time.”
The new mount provides adjustment and security features that the company believes make for a more efficient and accurate installation. Two adjustment mechanisms control precision gears that enable a front/back pitch and side-to-side tilt adjustments for delivering pinpoint image alignment, while the mount’s cable management system should allow the installer to create a clean, streamlined installation. A quick-release mechanism permits easy removal for service; included security hardware prevents theft.
The Optoma Universal Mount by Peerless is compatible with a variety of products, and is available for an estimated price of $159.
