QSC Audio Products
came out with a series of paging stations that includes the PS-1600, PS-800, and PS-400, plus supporting software. Integrators select a 16-, 8-, or 4-button version, each offered with either gooseneck or handheld microphones. Like other Q-Sys devices, they support dual networks for redundancy. Each also includes a second microphone input so that a single station can serve more than one area. The paging stations are connected to the Q-Sys core via standard gigabit Ethernet. They use Power over Ethernet so that no local AC power is needed. Public Address Router software handles functions such as routing pages; delaying, queuing, and sorting delayed pages; and playing and routing prerecorded messages. 800-854-4079.
