Panamax recently added three products to its MAX In-Wall series — the In-Wall Powerkit-Pro, Power-Pro, and Dual Signal Bay. The Powerkit-Pro provides a noise-free, code-compliant extension of the company’s filtration and protection to remotely located devices, such as plasma displays, LCDs, and projectors. The unit also accommodates optional signal line modules with additional EMI/RFI noise filtration built into the outlet receptacles. Where it is not practical to run an AC line from the rack to the remote display location, the company says the Power-Pro uses any branch circuit to deliver safe power to the remote display. The 15-amp Power-Pro offers two AC outlets with Level 1 EMI/RFI noise filtration, and thermal fusing, overvoltage protection, and catastrophic surge circuitry protect sensitive home theater components from damaging power surges and voltage transients. The Dual Signal Bay connects signal lines from the source device to the display device when running cables within walls. It accommodates two blank module inserts with pass-through plugs or two In-Wall signal protection modules and fits into many two-gang outlet brackets. The unit features a full metal housing and enlarged faceplate to accommodate oversize wall cutouts and a 14-AWG solid-wire connection for bonding/grounding to In-Wall AC units. Price: Powerkit-Pro, $299.95; Power-Pro, $99.95; Dual Signal Bay, $29.95. For more information, contact Panamax at 800-472-5555 or at www.panamax.com.
