Extron has begun shipping its new PS 1230 energy-efficient replacement power supply. Designed to conserve energy and reduce costs, the latest member of Extron’s PS Series of desktop power supplies has three 12V two-pole captive screw ports and offers a total of 3 amps across all outputs with no per-port current limits, the company says. It snaps into the included ZipClip 200 mounting bracket for mounting to rack rails, tables, or lecterns and also features a quarter-rack width, 1U enclosure with threaded inserts to mount the power supply directly on Extron rack shelves. The company says that the PS 1230 has a mean time between failures of more than 400,000 hours. 800-633-9876. www.extron.com.
