Premier Mounts Adds Digital Signage Mount

Premier Mounts expanded its UNI product line by combining its audio system, a flat-panel mount, and UNI-UST into a single unit–the UNI-DS+AUDIO. According to the company, the new product enhances digital signage video messages with high-quality stereo sound. Digital signage components may be stored in the integrated GearBox, while a tilt-and-swivel flat-panel mount attached to an extension arm gives the monitor a horizontal swivel range of +/-40 degrees. The UNI-DS+AUDIO is well suited for public venues, such as retailers, museums, hotel conference centers, and small or large event venues, says the company.
“By integrating our Universal Flat-Panel Mounts with powerful high-quality audio, we’ve created a cohesive, cost-effective, all-in-one signage package for a wide range of applications that is very easy to install,” said Lee Dodson, president at Premier Mounts, in a statement.
The universal mount provides its own set of loudspeakers, an advantage when flat-panel displays do not have their own, says the company. The sound system is designed with an acoustically balanced stereo speaker system that includes 5.25-inch woofers, directional tweeters, and a 50-watt amplifier. It also supports multiple audio inputs.
The mount incorporates a GearBox in its base plate to safely enclose the amplifier and its power supply as well as third-party streaming media players, network adapters, and other AV components. Lock-It security screws protect the mount and GearBox from theft.
According to Premier Mounts officials, the UNI-DS+AUDIO can be installed on any surface because it has an array of mounting slots at the top and bottom of the base wall unit. It comes with an ECM3763S flat-panel mount for displays up to 63 inches, which is attached to a 6-inch to 12-inch extension pipe with a 1.5-inch NPT threat. The flat-panel mount rotates up to 40 degrees horizontally either direction and 15 degrees vertically.
Premier Mounts’ UNI-DS+AUDIO is expected to begin shipping this month.
