Prysm, which recently introduced innovative new laser phosphor display (LPD) technology for large format display applications, announced 16 worldwide channel partners that will promote, sell and support it solution. The channel partners span North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

Company officials say now that Prysm has rolled out LPD, it is focused on expanding its presence. Prysm and its channel partners will provide best installation and localized services, support, and training for its LPD panels, according to the company.

“As Prysm’s exclusive partner in the U.K., we are excited to bring a new technology and player into the market that has the ability to change the AV industry,” said Stuart Holmes, managing director at PSCo, in a statement. “Prysm’s technology not only generates superior picture quality but has a modular design enabling our customers to create displays of any shape and size.”

Prysm’s display solution is well suited to retail, command and control, broadcast, digital signage, transportation, and other applications, says the company. The 25-inch diagonal, 4:3 tiles provide designers, integrators, and architects the flexibility to create displays of various shapes and sizes. Prysm’s LPD panels feature near-180-degree viewing angles, a brightness of 800 nits, an optical seam of .25 mm and a refresh rate of 240Hz. They are powered by LPD’s solid-state components and offer an internal health monitor and auto-calibration system for 24/7 operation and stable performance, according to the company.
