Atlas Sound has introduced the AA-PPRC priority paging remote controller, a 2×2 relay switcher that temporarily mutes audio so a page can be heard. Designed for zone paging management in new or existing systems found in board-rooms, schools, health care centers, and hotels, the controller comes with its own 12 volt DC external power supply. The switcher’s power handling rates at 350 watts per channel at 70 volts, and it sits between the output of an amplifier and loudspeakers. System switching events can be triggered from a variety of sources at line level, speaker level, or via a contact closure or external voltage trigger, the company says. Price: $204.
