Revolabs has introduced new Single and Dual Channel versions of its HD-series of wireless microphones. The new versions take from Revolabs’ Executive HD line support for HD audio from 50 Hz to 20 kHz, allowing the systems to pick up the entire human voice spectrum, the company says.

The Revolabs HD Single and Dual Wireless Microphone Systems use the same Revolabs Designed for Speech (DS20) technology, but in a smaller form factor than the Executive HD systems. The new systems also provide some audio processing EQ and mixing capabilities, reducing the need for external DSP audio processing equipment in many cases.

The Single and Dual HD systems also use the company’s HD Microphones, which include Revolabs RF Armor technology as a standard feature and as a result, are resistant to GSM noise from cell phones, PDAs, and other similar devices. This makes them suited for videoconferencing, amplified voice, and recording applications, according to Revolabs

“The new HD Single and Dual Channel Systems cost-effectively fill the need for situations requiring only one or two microphones, ” said Martin Bodley, Revolabs’ CEO, in a statement. “And there are no FCC issues to consider, as all of our microphones operate in the 1.9 GHz bandwidth.”

The Single and Dual Channel HD Systems are scheduled to begin shipping in August for an estimated retail price of $395.
