Short-Distance Projector: Toshiba TDP-EX20U
Toshiba's Digital Products Division announces its latest advancement in mobile projectors, the TDP-EX20U.
Toshiba's Digital Products Division announces its latest advancement in mobile projectors, the TDP-EX20U. This mobile projector displays in DLP BrilliantColor with “extreme short distance” and offers Windows Vista networking capabilities. Designed for education, mobile professional, corporate, small-to medium-sized business environments as well as consumers and pro AV installations, the ceiling-mount device projects a 60-inch image from 3 feet away. According to Toshiba, the “extreme short projection” technology produces more luminance (2,300 ANSI) because the image has a shorter distance to travel, which also reduces the ambient light that often affects image quality. The same technology eliminates eye glare and screen shadowing and enables users to present at various table heights. The projector also offers an XGA 1024x768 native resolution, a contrast ratio of 2000:1, and “PC-free” presentation capabilities through a USB thumb drive, among several other features. Price: $1,599. For more information, contact Toshiba's Digital Products Division at 800-316-0920 or www.toshibadirect.com.
