Sierra Video, a provider of high-quality video and audio equipment for the broadcast, government, and professional video marketplaces, today announced the hire of Steven Rich as its regional manager of sales and business development. In his new role, Rich will be dedicated to the company’s growth in Southern California’s media, entertainment, and production marketplace.
Rich has spent his career in and around technology for the media and entertainment industry. He co-founded Film & Video Magazine, a leading trade publication about the application of technology in the creative process. He subsequently helped launch Media.net, a cloud-based service provider of desktop collaborative applications, asset management, and storage services for media and entertainment companies in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Australia. Most recently Rich was president of Creative Media Partners, a dealer of post-production technology in Southern California.
